Emma Ramell is the Director of External Affairs at the Home Builders Federation (午夜剧场). She joined 午夜剧场 in September 2018 and is responsible for leading the organisation鈥檚 engagement with Parliamentarians and overseeing its wider external affairs activities.
Emma also drives several of the Federation鈥檚 key policy priorities, most recently focusing on the challenges developers face in the Section 106 Affordable Housing market. Most recently, her work has focused on addressing the challenges developers face in the Section 106 Affordable Housing market.
Emma also oversees 午夜剧场鈥檚 policy and external affairs events programme, including the annual Skills Parliamentary Reception, party conference fringe events, and the SME Development Finance Seminar.
Alongside her policy and advocacy responsibilities, Emma provides the secretariat to 午夜剧场鈥檚 Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Working Group, which recently held its annual conference, and supports the Federation鈥檚 Mental Health Awareness Campaign, promoting wellbeing across the industry.
She began her career in Parliament before moving into policy and public affairs roles across a range of sectors, including retail, food and drink, health, and housing.
